Planner/ Materials Control

Key Responsibilities

Follows up the demand forecast from Sales/Customer for Master Schedule to concerned department for manufacturing planning. Conduct demand planning to determine the needs and requirements for good and services. Monitor forecast to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.

Manage as much as possible material shortages or supply problems, and identify, assess the risk, and implement suitable buffer stock, safety stock to reduce material shortages. Perform data maintenance to ensure system integrity. Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.

Qualifications

•         Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Science, engineering management, business administration, supply chain preferred or relevant field.
•         At least 2 years experiences production planning / Material control or related fields.
•         Command in English communication in both verbal and written.
•         Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
