Job Description


  • Point of contact for major incidents and coordinate with responsible teams for incident restoration.
  • Responsible for reporting and communicating with stakeholders during and after incidents.
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating activities required to perform, monitor, and report on the process
  • Responsible for the effective implementation of “Incident Management” process and carries out the respective reporting procedure
  • Represent the first stage of escalation for major incidents
  • Monitor the workload per Tier 1 support team
  • Monitor the incidents to ensure that the Service Level Agreements are respected
  • Identify, initiate, schedule and conduct incident reviews
  • Ensure the closure of all resolved and end-user confirmed incident records
  • Establish continuous process improvement cycles where the process performance, activities, roles and responsibilities, policies, procedures and supporting technology is reviewed and enhanced where applicable
  • Manage NOC and tier-1 incident support


  • 5-10 years’ experience in Information Technology. 
  • Experience as an Incident/Problem Manager, IT Project Manager and/or IT Business Analyst is a plus
  • ITILv3 Foundations Certification (preferred)
  • Experience in managing service management software
  • Proactive and excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proven effectiveness to bring groups of people together to achieve a goal
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Quick learner who easily adapts to ambiguous situations
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Works well in a team environment
