Accountabilities
- KOL and HCP Engagement
- To identify and develop long term relationships with KOLs and communicate with internal stakeholder
- To address unsolicited requests for medical information from health care professionals including on- and off-label uses of company products and respond to relevant external customers
- To report Adverse Events and Product Quality issues to appropriate local company staff within required timeframes
- Scientific Intelligence Scientific Conference
- To collect medical insights and intelligence gathered from scientific exchange with KOLs and interpret & communicate internally in a timely manner
- To participate in the development and implementation of key medical activities
- To provide feedback on competitor activities of relevance
- To arrange medical booths and sessions coverage at scientific meetings and report information of strategic interest to Takeda
- To provide clinical presentations and medical information as necessary
- Research Support
- To facilitate local/ regional/ global company sponsored studies and company approved IISRs aligned with Takeda’s medical strategies and support of study concepts/protocols.
- To assist identifying, evaluating, and screening qualified research sites for clinical investigation, this may include identification of sites for company sponsored studies
- Training and Education
- To collaborate with Medical Advisor to deliver on-going scientific and medical training to internal partners, including sales training and address FAQs
- To complete all required training, activity documentation, expense reporting, and other administrative responsibilities
Qualifications / Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in vaccine business is mandatory e.g. Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL), Medical representative, Clinical Research Associated (CRA)
- Advance degree in Pharmacy (Pharm D) or M Sc. in Pharmacy or PhD
- In-depth scientific/therapeutic knowledge and the ability to understand complex scientific concepts and integrate them into discussions
- Well-versed in highly technical and scientific languages in order to communicate with KOLs, Medical Affairs, Research and Development, as well as other key internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, engagement skill, presentation skill, and the ability to engender trust and respect of peers, subordinates and superiors
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English is preferred
- Ability to arrange virtual engagement is mandatory
