Major Responsibilities:

• Supervises, establishes priorities, and controls the cannery maintenance function of assigned shift assists in planning and scheduling of the repair and maintenance of cannery machinery and equipment
• supervises day-to-day preventive maintenance as well as emergency repair work by determining maintenance and repair needs, conduction equipment inspection, or by requests from supervisor
• Analyzes RCA and locates causes of machinery malfunctions or breakdowns: determines the nature and extent of repair work to be done: and directs and expedites repairs by mechanics to keep downtime at minimal levels
• Supervises the installation of new or additional mechanical equipment: and coordinates with other departments for their smooth operation
• Provides technical instructions and guidance to subordinates in repair and maintenance work
• Supervises and coordinates the preventive maintenance program in terms mechanical concepts, Lubrication
• Assigns lower position level in the organizational chart to be deputy to handle duties and responsibilities in case of his/her absence
• Promotes cost reduction and establishes control in maintenance

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineer) or equivalent
• 2-3 years work experience in machine repair and maintenance
• Skill of machine maintenance, repair and overhauling, planning, problem solving & decision making; supervisory, PLC, Cost Control, communication
• English proficiency
