Job Description

Marketing Manager will be fully responsible for providing leadership and direction for Brand Marketing in country. This includes the development and successful implementation of integrated marketing plans that meet the set goals and objectives of the business and the brand in the country.

Our client is one of the globes leading apparel / fashion business. They have an immediately recognisable brand and very strong brand presence in Thailand. They are seen as every day use and wear and not only pride themselve on comfort and fashion but also have a health focus for the consumer. Head office based in Europe they are looking for a strong and westernised Marketing manager to join the team.


  • Develops country plans to ensure the focus on brand building efforts is consistent and in line with brand direction.
  • Evaluates and recommends marketing country plans on an on-going basis while providing regular feedback to Management.
  • Ensures the continuity of country marketing strategy with the country business objectives.
  • Drives the integrated marketing effort across the product, sales and retail aspects of the company - at both the sell-in and sell-thru phases.
  • Drives consumer insight focus to benefit the organisation.
  • Works with the rest of the Apparel Lead Team to ensure central brand themes are delivered in the country.
  • Acts as a focal point on all brand themes and product initiatives.
  • Represents the marketing function in giving key presentations and routine reports to audiences consisting of senior management in a variety of meeting forums.
  • Drives processes in the country that contributes to the brand marketing strategy formation, including the development of the Brand Plan, Brand Marketing 3 year strategic plans, contribute to Global Category Vision Plans.
  • Drives these planning efforts in country to ensure maximum use of resources.
  • Leads the coordination with external agencies in the planning and execution of effective communication and promotional campaigns in order to enhance the brand equity in the Thai market
  • Coordinates with other functions to ensure connectivity and clear communication about business priorities.


  • Experience in marketing, advertising, retail, sales and/or product marketing experience with a high profile, global brand organisation.
  • Apparel / Clothing knowledge required, including work experience in a marketing leadership position for either an advertising agency or a blue-chip brand.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with, inspire and create consensus with a group to cooperatively achieve a common goal
  • Extensive contacts, knowledge of and experience in Department Stores business brand management and marketing processes and philosophies.
  • Ability to think strategically and to creatively solve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceive/create new thinking and ideas pertaining to global brand marketing and brand management.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to think in a global manner.
  • Ability to stir to action and provide motivation.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple projects simultaneously, while managing the International marketing process.
