Job Description

Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company, is searching for “Market Access Manager” with following details:

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve product access goals, maximize pricing and access opportunity by leading and working collaboratively with cross functional team while placing the patient at the center of any efforts and operating company business with code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Drive and facilitate reimbursement projects to maximize commercial opportunities for all business.
  • Maintain external relationship with key stakeholders (including key government agencies and industry association).
  • Lead cross-functional team in strategy development and implementation.
  • Facilitate pricing negotiation and maintain price defense.
  • Develop and implement Integrated Access Strategy by concentrating on the access ambition and understanding the trade-offs across price, access level, and time.
  • Strong mindset in profit and loss management to support pricing proposal
  • Drive internal price approval and own pricing system management,
  • Provide access expertise for portfolio planning in business long range plan
  • Manage across all MA portfolio resourcing forecast.
  • Project management including planning, implementation and monitoring. 
  • Write reimbursement submissions and communicating value messages to authorities.
  • Drive evidence planning and generation (e.g. local economic data, budget impact analysis and value dossier localization) for supporting enlistment submission.
  • Complete / co-ordinate post-submission and ongoing tasks, such as pricing, listing and reimbursement criteria.
  • Identify and influence key external stakeholders and aim to broaden access of Company brands
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers including government agencies, KOLs, industry association, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Finance, Regulatory, NPI and Regional and Global teams.
  • Drive strategy meetings with health authorities, KOLs, and vendors, regional and global teams.
  • Identify data gaps and perform necessary data collection (audit, survey, literature review)

Qualifications:

  • Degrees in Pharmacy, Science, Health Economics, Public Health or Medicine
  • At least 5 years of experience in conducting listing submissions and assisting pricing negotiation 
  • Preferred strong commercial experience
  • Good understanding of clinical/medicines and HTA in TH health systems
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Pleasant personality and interpersonal skills
