Our respected client is seeking a professional with operations and commercial management experience from property development and construction industry for the job of Managing Director. The job is based in the Norther part of Thailand.

Job Summary

The Director will be managing company’s operations and performance. The director is responsible for function as a Senior Executive for the Design and Construction of the residential projects. Ideal candidate will be a high-level Development and Construction professional who will lead and direct all aspects of the design and construction process for the entire development. Job Responsibilities

  • Providing operations leadership through all phases of projects.
  • Performing Project Management of all assigned projects in logical steps to meet the deadlines. Ensuring all project are delivered efficiently, effectively, on time, on scheduled and within budget.
  • Monitoring and control project costs compliance to company budget and provide analysis of deviations and corrective action plan.
  • Financial planning (cash flow) and monitoring of all projects (P&L, CVC, and forecasting), and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
  • Develop proper organizational chart and job description for subordinates. Determining labor requirements, teams, sub consultants, and sub- contractors.
  • Provide effective leadership, motivation, direction, and control to project team, including architects, engineers, consultants, and the trades.
  • Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, architect, designer, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
  • Maximizing Business Development exposures for Company via Networking events, Presentations, or other initiatives
  • Formations of strategies or alliances with external business partners leading to continued growth and expansion of Company.
  • Preparations and formations of proposals leading to continued growth of business opportunities.
  • Implementation, induction, and up-keeping of Company's QA/QC Systems
Job Requirements

  • At least 10+ years working experience in construction and engineering service industry.
  • At least 5+ years in senior manager or director level, with proven project record in construction management, architecture, or Engineering.
  • Experienced in General Management, Directorship Roles or higher will be advantage.
  • Combined work experience of at least 20 years in Project/Construction Management, Construction industries or Engineering Consultancy firms
  • Male or female, Age 42 - 50 years old
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related Engineering fields/ Preferably Civil, MEP or Industrial Engineering
  • Professional Engineering License.
  • Experienced working with high volume of subcontractors, suppliers, or vendors.
  • Excellent computer skills and the willingness to learn company created software for managing projects excellent time management.
  • Ability to accurately describe and assess the status of a construction project and be ready to provide possible solutions when necessary.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex transactions with little supervision
  • Highly organized individual with ability to work within international standards norm of practice.
  • Proficient in English and able to operate MS office, MS Project.
