Job Description

Manager – Hotel Analysis

Job scope

  • To assist Vice President – Hotel Finance in overseeing all Financial Controller’s performance plan and review as well supporting to interview new candidates, analyzing the financial reports from hotel and be able to identify discrepancies to highlight to management team, determining policies and procedures relating to accounting and maintaining the most effective of system internal controls in our hotels and timely financial reporting of operating results
  • Liaise with internal auditors in compliance with the Company’s requirements for all hotels and make the necessary follow up to close the audit issues
  • To monitor the progress implementation succession plan in finance department all hotels are in place
  • To assist in reviewing pre-opening budgets for new hotels
  • To help pre-opening activities, organization of accounting and support team, and set up of accounting systems and procedures
  • To make a summary review for annual budget all hotels
  • To deliver timely submission of analysis reports i.e. global credit risk, accounts receivable aging for BTHR together with monitoring of payments of HMA Fees.
  • To monitor and follow up the timely submission of ICQ, internal audit tracking table, monthly package reports, management compliance listing, and other reports as required
  • To assist in making a summary review for annual budget for all hotels
  • To help pre-opening activities, organization of accounting and support team, and set up of accounting systems and procedures

Qualification

  • Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Accountancy
  • Knowledge of hotel industry, experienced and hand-on as Chief Accountant or as Assistant Financial Controller from established hotel chains
  • Perform detailed review work on hotel financial department
  • Supervisory, coaching and guidance skills with a strong in leadership
  • External audit experience from the big 5 audit firms and has hotel audit exposure
  • Familiar with Information Technology which related to hotel industry
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Able to speak and write in English
