About the team

Our management consultants provide a combination of business and technology advice, from strategy to execution, and help solve our clients’ complex business challenges.

Our Finance team helps our clients through transformations into high-performing finance functions. This allows them to release time and people from transactional work to focus on value-add activities whilst maintaining a robust control environment.

Our focus areas are finance vision & strategy, finance transformation and enterprise performance management.

About the role

You’ll be helping us deliver complex solutions to our clients. This involves working closely with your team, manager and client representative and acting as the daily contact point for clients. Our work can include:

  • Finance function business analysis and business processes review, redesign and robust.
  • Transformational change across the organisation involving solution implementation, technology and digital integration, and cost strong
  • Establishing a shared services centre and outsourcing function
  • Enabling technology and digital implementations such as robotic process automation and fintech solutions

About you 

  • Minimum one year of relevant experience in finance consulting with demonstrated skills in managing projects and communicating effectively with clients and teams, or with finance function experience in a business partner role.Good understanding of key financial services and fintech trends including blockchain, robotic process automation, machine learning, and the Internet of Things
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal skills
  • A proven ability to translate client objectives into deliverable design, and develop deliverables that address complex situations.
  • Knowledge of key strategic business drivers, regulatory constraints and finance processes
  • The ability to define a strategy, develop business cases and define the target operating model including organisation design, processes, and governance.
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Visio
  • Strong presentation and group facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated management skills, including the ability to train and develop staff, manage project budgets and develop strong client relationships.

Competency in the following is an advantage:

  • Experience in digital process optimisation.
  • Experience working or interning in a Big Four or well-known financial services firm involved in       banking, insurance, asset management, or capital markets.
  • Experience in an operations function or project management office.
  • Project management experience
