Job Description:
- Supporting the international business expansion and performance for the company by identifying opportunities to improve international logistics network and processes.
- Managing monthly reports of logistics network performance.
- Identifying areas of improvement in the existing network and working closely with operational teams, such as the Import Department, DC, IT, Finance, Merchandise Team, and Sourcing Team.
- Mapping out the change to network model or process and ensuring project plan and stakeholder approval or sponsorship is in place appropriate to the level of change.
- Ensuring new import brands are properly supported and integrated with the company logistics network.
- Ensuring new countries are properly supported and integrated with the company’s logistics network.
- Addressing any performance issues from logistics partners across the company’s logistics network.
- Achieving fast delivery from factory gates in China and Thailand to stores in several countries in Asia with flexible replenishment and movement of stock between countries wherever possible.
- Ensuring the reduction of freight and duty costs and making full use of free trade agreements.
- Managing tender process for new elements of our logistics network, such as DC operator in a new country or replacement of any existing under-performing partners.
- Working with sourcing and production director to identify long term plan for business expansion and ensure.
- Thai national with at least a Bachelor's Degree in any related area.
- More than 5 years of direct experience in logistics role in international scope.
- Experience negotiating contracts or commercial terms on behalf of a company.
- Proficiency in outlook, excel, word, PowerPoint.
- Very good command of English.
- Ability to occasionally travel around in Asia for work assignments.
