Junior Network Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment in Network/Server/Storage environment to the specifications of client proposals.
• Need to install all types of network equipment like Cisco, juniper, HP etc.
• Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices.
• Perform troubleshooting analysis of network equipment, Investigating faults in the network
• Documents network problems and resolution for future reference.
• Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
• Responding to inquiries from service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc. to provide technical assistance and support
• Any other ad-hoc as assigned by management.
• Conduct technical trainings professionally and provide proper documentation
• Must be highly disciplined and able to complete projects/tasks efficiently and at the shortest possible time
• Must be highly organized and work within timelines
• Keep abreast with new technologies for company’s benefit

Experience/Knowledge Required

• Minimum 1 year’s hands on experience in Cisco, HP, juniper equipment and devices
• Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer or related field
• Technical, analytical and interpersonal skills is required
• Experience in LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, router and switch configuration etc
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and network diagnostic skills
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification is advantaged.
• Knowledge of server and storage is advantaged.
• Availability in response to needs of the customer for installation, maintenance and equipment malfunctions
• Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal.
