Job Description

Position Summary

This role is responsible to administer KCP glove contract manufacturer. This role is accountable to coordinate contract manufacturing site activities from research run/validation to commercialization. The incumbent must be able to coordinate contract manufacturer in manufacturing planning for research run/validation, commercialization and assemble manufacturing design control required documentation and competent in JMP statistical software for result analysis.

Customers and collaborative partners

This role will primarily interact with external contract manufacturer partners with support from internal cross-functional teams (quality, regulatory, R&D, planning, marketing and procurement).

 Accountabilities
  • End to End ECM management
  • Glove industry SME for internal / external stakeholder
  • Leading commercial & operation management between KCP & ECM
 Responsibilities
  • Responsible for end to end ECM compliance Social, Regulatory, Quality, Safety and Service.
  • As SME for internal stakeholder for glove and related portfolio which including up-stream supplies to downstream service such as sterilization.
  • Proactively identify supplier/supply chain risks and communicate with stakeholder team for mitigation plan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional including both Global and regional supply chain, R&E, Quality, Regulatory and Compliance teams to drive the continuous improvement end ECM programs at the vendor.
  • Lead engagements with suppliers to identify and activate manufacturing reliability improvement programs focused on speed, waste, and delay.
  • Collaborate with cross function teams in identifying Design for Value and Design for Reliability opportunities within products, packages, and processes.
 Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience 10 years relevant experience in Product or Design Engineering in the Glove medical device
  • 5+ years of glove industrial experience, preferable in sourcing and supplier management role
  • Lean 6-sigma working knowledge with validated projects demonstrating competency Capable of traveling unsupervised regionally up to 50%
  • Demonstrated experience working with global cross functional stakeholders to identify and synchronize on action plans
  • Demonstrated strong supplier management skill in compliance, commercial & operation.
  • Ability and willingness to host and participate in teleconference in off hours to support business needs.
 Differentiating
  • Direct manufacturing experience in glove manufacturing industry
  • Certified lean six sigma black belt
  • Direct work in managing CE and FDA regulated products.  
  • Masters in Operations Management
