Job Description

Overview

As an Assistant you will operate as part of the people and culture team assisting the business in providing quality human resources services, meeting business objectives, and supporting other priorities as assigned to you. You will play a key support role assisting the People & Culture team across the whole human resources function. 

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assisting with specific requested tasks for events and activities coordination associated targeting recruitment and raising profile of the firm in the market
  • Undertaking tasks as requested for key recruitment processes:
    • Placing advertising and updating the HR system
    • Organizing interviews
    • Issuing of correspondence associated with the recruitment process
    • Updating the HR system
  • Specific tasks for pre-onboarding such as communications, IT notification, security card etc.
  • Assistance with onboarding process as directed
  • Assisting with specific requested tasks for events for whole of firm activities that have a key people and culture focus
  • Assisting with specific requested tasks with administration and coordination around learning and development programs, employee growth and performance cycle coordination, such as appointment coordination, registrations, report compilation etc.
  • Other administrative tasks as requested including:
    • Support on social security and provident fund matters
    • Support on visa and work permit matters for expats
    • Record maintenance
    • Legal compliance matters

Experience and qualifications

Minimum

  •        1-5 years’ experience in relevant field
  •        University degree
  •        Good English skills

Desirable

  •        Excellent English language skills
