MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Process purchasing requisition / orders within purchasing authority including inviting assesses and award/ recommend supplier tenders, bids quotation and proposal
  • Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions and maintain supplier relationships
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing record, reports and price lists.
  • Assist in the development of specifications for equipment, materials and services to be purchased
  • Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt warranty and damages and insurance
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining records and databases
  • Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards and best practices
  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and management
  • Oversee and arrange the office activities
  • Manage the office daily activities to ensure that the task and assignment is completed and done on time
  • Other as assigned


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Age 25 – 35 years old.(Thai nationality only)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or other related fields.
  • At least 3 years of direct experience in administrative and procurement and have a knowledge of supply chain, operation and processing, and technology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word)
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Good communication skills with the ability to effectively influence people at all levels within and outside the organization
  • Excellent problem solving skills with an ability to envision and deliver innovative solutions
  • Ability to create and maintain good relationship with local supplier/advisors, business partners, and stakeholders
  • Proven track record of successfully establishing operational objectives and determining how to utilize resources to best meet schedules and goals

Green Earth Power (Thailand) “GEP” Company Limited is a subsidiary of three well-received publicly listed entities in Thailand, namely META, SCN, and ECF.  GEP (Myanmar), our project company and a subsidiary, is a Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) promoted company and is a permit holder to develop and operate Minbu 220MWdc Solar Power Plant in Minbu, Magway, Myanmar, which is one of the largest solar farms in Southeast Asia. The Company was established to energize Myanmar with clean energy and to help create Myanmar’s power supply sustainability.

The Company has a mandate to uphold the best professional and industry practice for operation and reporting to meet with that of the Thai SEC’s requirements for Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the future.  The Company is therefore looking for a full-time professional who seek career growth and ready to challenge his/herself to lead the plan to success.  This is a role that will offer our candidate an international exposure to business disciplines in Energy sector outside Thailand, not only Myanmar but also other countries that requires power supply.
