Job Description
Your role;
An IT Infrastructure Specialist is required to assist in managing the IT infrastructure and support IT/Business projects and activities in a factory site. In case of need, the infrastructure
support may be extended to cover adjoining Electrolux sites without a permanent IT staff.
A typical day;
Being member of a team which:
- Support and assist with the implementation of IT infrastructure projects particularly in the factory environment
- Run and maintain particular IT infrastructure in the factory related to Production
- Proactively engage with engineering around systems implementations and specifically systems integration
- Physical support and assistance for all local Server environment (Virtual and Physical)
- Manage all local IT Network infrastructure (L2/L3 switches, Fiber Optic connections, LAN/WAN, Wireless)
- Manage vital IT L2 production infrastructure
- Manage in-machines and other site access control infrastructure
- Deal with interface with Legacy and ERP Solutions in Manufacturing area
- Maintain continuous interaction and relationship with business stakeholders and IT external consultants
- Maintain and improve relations with users, other Departments and key Management in the site
- Provide IT process and equipment specification support and expertise
- Support other Rayong infrastructure in case of need of for specific projects or emergencies
- Good English communication/collaboration skills to manage all vendors and business stakeholders
- Degree/Certificate in an IT or Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of consolidated experience in IT infrastructure support (especially in network infrastructure including WIFI, Server VM/Storage/Backup, Telecom provider, PC Operations, etc).
- Factory Automation Systems (Apriso, HMI/SCADA , OPC servers, PLC connections) will be a plus.
- Previous working experience in a Manufacturing or High Technology environment is considered a plus.
- Troubleshooting skills in a complex IT and manufacturing environment
- Server and storage architecture knowledge (both physical and Virtual)
- Network management knowledge and architecture skills (LAN/WAN)
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work within a team on different time zones

- Ability to communicate effectively upwards and downwards within the organization and to train others
- Willing to learn new technologies quickly
