Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: IT Application Support mainly responsible for the day-to-day operations support in business application, and proactive monitor for application related issue.  IT Application Support work with appropriate support function to troubleshoot and identify the issues or root cause, trends and potential problem area then provides permanent or workaround solution to resolve complex issues/problems.

Working within a company, these professionals must be great communicators and be able to translate their technical knowledge into actionable direction. When they don’t have an answer, they know how to research the problem and come up with a solution

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to end user issues
  • Perform support on business application such as production issues, setup configuration or upload/download operational data
  • Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support
  • Provide guidance on functional solution.
  • Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
  • Walk through problem solving process with end user
  • Follow up with users, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
  • Troubleshoot and identify the issues or root cause and provide resolution for non-complex issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Degree in Information System, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • 0-2 years of experience with SQL Server Database (SQL, Store Procedure)
  • Fresh graduate are also welcome
  • Working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control
  • Service mind oriented with sense of urgency.
  • Troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff at all organizational levels including senior management, technical resources, non-technical resources, and end users.
