IT analyst will serve as a technical expert on network & data center operation and cyber security to manage all aspects of work on network (LAN, WIFI Network, Router, Switch, Firewall, NAC, IDS/IPS) and Data Center (NUTANIX system, VMWARE, Supporting facilitator)
Job Description:
- Manages the existing Network Infrastructure, Data Center and the related system and OS
- design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment
- maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades
- undertake data network fault investigations in local area network, Wi-Fi network and cloud environments using information from multiple sources
- support and administer firewall environments in line with cyber/ IT security policy
- upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases
- configure router, switching equipment and firewalls
- undertake capacity management and audit of network and hosted devices within data center
- Establishes cloud migration program by working with cloud service provider to create a first-class Cloud Security Architecture focused on availability, confidentiality, Integrity
- Works with business process team to understand their business processes, priorities and their respective, data, system and security requirements
- Operate the network administration (CISCO, Palo alto), OS administration (Windows Server) and VM Administration (VMWARE)
- Engages with other internal IT team including Helpdesk, Application support and PC Support to plan and implement cyber security strategy.
- Works closely with application improvement teams to understand the needs, remove obstacles, and to ensure the smooth operations of running the day to day application service.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, or Networking/Telecommunications
- At least 5 years experience maintaining and providing Data Center, Cloud Services, and/or Network Operations/Security Operations environments, IT certifications in VM Ware, Network, IT Security and Servers are preferred.
- A few year progressively responsible experience in information system security, Cyber security and/or IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
- Experience making complex security directives contextual and actionable for business continuity plan, disaster recovery plan; including developing action plans that support adherence to IT policies, practices, and audits
- Experienced in an incident response environments and ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and group dynamic skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong operational skills in running and implementing cyber security directives and policies
