Reports to: Lead Instrument Engineer
Job profile summary
- To provide that product of instrument engineering units are achieved
- To maximize plans reliable, safety and optimum operation consistent with SPRC targets
- To ensure proficiency project management all aspects to engineering project, design and execution.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor or Higher Degree in Instrument, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
- Minimum 3-year experience in the area of instrument, specification and design of instrumentation or control systems in petrochemical or refinery
- Knowledge in instrument and controls engineering practices, international designs/codes, and standards
- Understanding philosophy and/or experiencing in the selection & application of field instrumentation (flow/pressure/temperature, etc.)
- Understanding philosophy and/or experiencing in design and maintenance of Hazardous Area design principles particularly around Intrinsically Safe System
- Understand in Engineering software such as Control valve sizing, CAD, INSTOOL-SPI
- Understand with PLC or DCS control systems and control theory
- Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing, and coordinating to develop project work package.
- Ability to provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers
- Good Command in English both spoken and written
