Role: Legal & Compliance Department Head (General Manager Level)

Job Descriptions:
- He/ She will work closely with the Management team in other functions on any legal- related matters as in Legal Advise, Legal issues of Digital Assets Market and some products in the Financial Market
- Handle legal work on any related potential legal issues including in review and draft business contract and/or Agreement of the organization both in Thai and English
- Work closely with the external legal counsels and another team in handling the pending case and/or legal-related matters
- Identify and monitor legal and compliance issues with respect to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations relating to the company’s business Group of policies, Code of Conduct/Practices & standard
- Manage, oversee and monitor the practice of business-specific compliance, and general compliance, it includes to ensure these Compliance’s functions are running well
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues
- Review product and marketing materials to ensure compliance with AMLO and any related governmental authorities
- Develops, initiates, maintains and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance
- Provide advice on regulatory compliance issues and requirements including new business & product development, Sales & marketing practices
- Provide training and educate staff on regulation / new regulation requirements, compliance and internal policy and procedures
- Build awareness & compliance culture in the Company. Evaluation of third-party provider of services, systems & product
- Implementing and monitoring of the Compliance framework of company regulatory compliance, data protection, professional ethics, market integrity, relationships with the regulators and protection of the customer interests
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law/ Business Law or any related fields
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in prior Legal & Compliance from multinational companies (Preferable working experience in Financial Service, Banking or any Financial Institutions industry)
- Practical knowledge and hands on experience in Digital Assets Market, Capital Market, and Financial Market will be advantageous
- High versatile, result oriented, work independently under pressure
- Sound analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with critical thinking abilities
- Good interpersonal skills; people person with good presentation skills
- Good command of verbal and written communication skills in Thai and English skills
