GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Brand Bureau (BB), AvroKO’s award-winning strategy & branding studio, is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to act in both a supporting and managing role. We are a multi-disciplinary team of passionate conceptualists comprised of top brand strategists, art directors, graphic designers, industrial designers, and interior architects with a primary focus on the food and beverage, hospitality, and retail industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Graphic Designer acts as a bb team member under the direction of the Art Director. He or she is responsible for the execution of design concepts from definition to delivery. The Graphic Designer is an integral part of the BB team, collaborating on all creative areas including brand strategy, concept, and even interior design and architecture. This position requires keen understanding of standard graphic design methods and techniques, including print and digital media.

MUST HAVE:

• Minimum: Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design with 1+ years experience
• Outstanding design and conceptual sensibility
• Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac platform and strong InDesign skills
• Excellent corporate identity/branding work samples
• Proficiency in all design fields, including digital and print mediums
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and give and take direction
• Develop concepts and design for a wide range of clients from corporate to boutique
• Ability to meet deadlines, while managing multiple projects
• Create consistent templates for look and feel to ensure fast campaign creation
• Grow new and maintain existing relationships with print and digital vendors
• Work directly with print/digital vendors to ensure final files are delivered and required materials are   available for production
• Stay abreast of industry standards related to the design field, and remain current on multiple media and presentation techniques
• Provide new creative ideas to the team on a regular basis, staying consistent with existing brand
• Communicate with the BB team throughout all stages including conception/production
