Financial Controller

We are looking for a competent candidate with hospitality background to manage our finance and accounting aspects of our core Business Units comprise Golf Club, Sports Club and Eastin Thana City Golf Resort Bangkok by facilitate their revenue generating objectives while maintaining the integrity, security and compliance of the company accounts.

This senior position reports to the Executive General Manager and is a member of the Executive Management Team.  

Responsibilities:

• Managing all finance & accounting operations and records in compliance with accounting standards and related regulations.
• Presenting financial and accounting reports in an accurate and timely manner, meeting all reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Analyzing financial and accounting data and variance analysis from the budget and suggesting areas for improvement to the management team.
• Co-ordinating and preparing the annual budget including operating budget and capital expenditures budget.
• Maintaining internal controls over financial and operational process.  Ensuring that standard operational policies and procedures are followed and updated.
• Coordinating with audit activities from internal and external auditors.
• Working with Treasury in managing cash flow.
• Providing leadership and managing the finance & accounting team effectively and efficiently.  
• Develop, adapt and implement LSOP’s for all department functions
• Strengthening internal communications with other departments and promoting a supportive work environment.
• The training, guidance and development of all finance & accounting colleagues and encourage individual development
• Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.

Requirements:

• Thai nationality, age over 35 years old
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience of which at least 5 years should be in a senior management level.
• Technically competent in financial and management accounting.
• Background in service industry experience is an advantage.
• Good leadership and development skills, adaptable to change and proactive in problem solving
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High energy level, enthusiastic, positive and creative
• Working in a team environment
• Strong communication in English is required (reading, speaking and writing)
