Job Summary:

The Cementing Field Specialist performs oilfield jobs with assigned cementing equipment safely and efficiently. Provides Service Delivery with flawless Service Quality and no HSE incidents in accordance with company policies, standards and procedures. Develops and progresses through the Schlumberger career path within the given time frame while working closely with the assigned mentor. He/She reports directly to Service Delivery Manager and under supervision of assigned Field Engineer or Sr. Field Specialist.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Help plan, prepare and execute jobs to design and client specifications.
• Complies with all Company & Regulatory HS&E & Quality and IT standards and policies. Wears all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required & maintains required HS&E & SQ certifications up to date.
• Executes successful jobs as per the design provided and approved by the Client.
• Recognizes risks associated with the operation, and reduces these risks to as low as reasonably possible.
• Identifies any potential unplanned changes to the job program at the well site, and initiates the district’s Management of Change procedure(s).
• Oversee field operations, including engineering deployment, maintenance, job planning, and operational reporting
• Completes all the required pre and post job paper work and job tickets on time and without errors as per company policies.
• Operates and maintains the assigned equipment Standalone while learning to operate and maintain additional equipment.
• Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
• Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the CAT, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
• Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
• Help prepare wellsite reports and post-job debriefings
• Develop necessary technical and functional abilities to perform duties required in business line’s range of services and products
• Effectively supervise a crew and/or processes within a year

Requirement:

• Minimum Engineering Diploma or equivalent with minimum 3 years’ field experience in the relevant cementing oilfield industry.  
• Able to communicate well in English
• Willing to travel and work offshore/onshore.
