Distribution and Customer Service Department Director

Responsibilities 

• Direct all efforts of the D&CS team, effectively utilizing all resources available to ensure high levels of service are provided to TCP Group direct customers and 3^rd party service customers
• Leads the overall order-to-cash (OTC) value stream process for TCP Group. Adopts a continuous improvement mindset to continually look for and implement changes, large and small, to improve our OTC processes from service, cost and cash perspectives.
• Supports and participates in TCP Group Integrated Business Planning processes.
• Develops and manages an integrated corporate logistics and distribution strategy that supports the overall strategic plans of TCP group business.
• Enhances relationships with 3^rd Party customers and internal TCP Group to promote an environment that effectively communicates and manages needs, issues, performance, accountability and expectations.
• Ensures that the company’s logistics and distribution systems are working effectively and efficiently. 
• Develops metrics to measure system performance. 
• Partners with the Information Technology to manage improvements and enhancements to systems. 
• Continues to explore processes and systems that can add value to the logistics and distribution processes.
• Develops and manages relationships with outsourced transportation partners to ensure high service level expectations are met or exceeded.
• Establishes budgets for the D&CS function and implements the necessary controls to keep expenditures within budgetary limitations. Identifies the processes and resources required to continually advance the D&CS organization. 
• Defines how to more effectively use technology to drive down costs while increasing the value that the D&CS team can provide.
• Creates and maintains an environment that supports TCP value                               

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply chain, Logistics, Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
• At least 15 years of experience in managing Warehouse & Transportation, Customer Service
• Experience in process optimization and streamlining
• Recognized business acumen
• Strong leadership capabilities and ability to work well in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft applications – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Good command of English
