Job Description


  • Lead and own Demand Planning Process as part of S&OP to integrate with Supply Planning
  • Responsible for facilitating a process to obtain forecast inputs from Sales & Marketing, to provide best forecasts and convert them into demand plans that drive the supply chain planning process
  • Understand past and future assumptions, risks and opportunities, and clean the sales data and build base forecast while keeping track of sales and marketing activity logs
  • Understand and apply statistical models, depending on historical patterns and horizons using exception-based planning.
  • Report, analyze and deliver KPI´s (Forecast Bias & Accuracy, Customer Service KPI’s, Stock-on-hand days, Business Waste)
  • Manage short-term demand requests and problem solving
  • Translate potential supply risks from the Sourcing Unit and ensure clear
    communication to internal and external customers
  • Highlight gaps in the demand plan and make sure that necessary actions are taken by related stakeholders
  • Obsolete stock management; identify obsolete stock risks, initiate and follow through required actions to sell out obsolete stock and to avoid them
  • Manage Master Data for the portfolio
  • Supervised 2 subordinates


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, Engineering, International Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ work experience in Demand or Supply Planning, Factory Planning, Demand Planning in manufacturing or FMCG with at least 1 year as a team leader
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Work well with others and can work well under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Good negotiation & problem-solving skills.
