Job summary :

Analyst in SCB Data Intelligence team drives business growth by bringing best practice of advanced data usage and applications directly to business units.  The team develops relevant business insights, operates and customizes machine learning models to achieve business results from a vast pool of data.  You will work closely with business units, data scientists and data engineers to help identify business opportunities or solve business issues by using data driven solutions and delivering actionable analysis based on deep understanding of business needs, data availability, and expertise in operating machine learning models.

Job description :

• Be responsible as a point of contact of the area of responsibility for advanced data analysis, model development request and data analytics solutions
• Create relevant and deep strategic insights from large and complex data and leverage outcome of machine learning models
• Operate and customize predictive models that deliver values to business units
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new feature engineering and implement end-to-end data analytics solutions

Qualifications :

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Statistics or other areas that are highly quantitative
• Experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R, pandas) and database software (e.g., SQL, PySpark)
• Foundational knowledge in statistics and machine learning (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, hypothesis testing)
• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and able to articulate concepts concisely to the point
