Responsibilities: 

• Assemble large, complex data sets and build classification and storage, & ETL systems to maximise insight generation and speed of access/ transformation across a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. from Integrate solutions into a microservices infrastructure, ensuing seamless interaction with other services/ applications
• Work effectively with a cross-functional team (e.g. Product, UX) to ensure high-performance outcomes are delivered consistently
• Creating high quality documentation and annotation on all deliverables
• Take full ownership for end-to-end delivery of your user stories

What we are looking for: 

• Experience as a data engineer with demonstrable experience in handling large volumes of data including classification of image-based or video data
• High-level of proficiency in using Python, for building advanced Data Pipelines
• Experience working at scale with machine learning, computer vision or autonomous robotics
• Experience in a startup or pureplay tech business with track record of delivering innovative technology at pace
• Passion for business new solutions from scratch
• Experience working in challenging environments of teams from different cultural and functional backgrounds
