The COO will be responsible for driving manufacturing, distribution and supply chain excellence to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the facilities, focusing on safety, quality, cost and delivery. While the primary mandate is for Thailand, you will have dotted line responsibilities for global operations.

Description
Direct operations to meet operating budgets and other financial targets related to labour and capital expenditures
Develop and execute a strategic plan that supports the company's long term growth and profitability goals
Meet and exceed (develop and implement where necessary) Key Performance Indicators, with a heavy emphasis on safety, quality, service and productivity
Use continuous improvement strategies, tools (Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen) and techniques to deliver sustainable cost reductions across the entire operational value chain
Lead and support acquisition integration projects related to Operations and general business functions
Develop a world class Operations team through talent acquisition, management and development
Promoting technological advancement of plants in alignment with Industry 4.0 objectives
Profile
Bachelor's degree is required, ideally from an Engineering/Food Science background. An MBA is strongly preferred
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in managing critical operational, commercial and manufacturing activities
Exposure to the food & beverage or personal care industry would be highly regarded
Fluency (spoken and written) in English and Thai is necessary
Familiar with Six Sigma, LEAN, Kaizen process in continuous improvement
Adequate knowledge of organisational effectiveness, operations management, budget development and oversight
Outstanding leadership capabilities, ability to communicate a compelling vision and drive results while developing a strong team
A demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within the Group to drive business growth
Ability to work in a challenging, fast paced, results-oriented environment under minimal supervision
