Channel Sales Executive (HORECA)

Reporting to : Head of Sales
Job summary:
As a Channel Sales Executive you will be responsible for recruiting, and launching brands and products into the HORECA channel.
This is a Sales Role that requires the individual to have a strong passion for the HORECA sales channel and enjoys the beverage industry.
You are experienced with channel partner relationships and comfortable building stronger relations within the channel. You must excel at finding and closing new opportunities and have strong listening and suggestive selling skills. You’re a highly motivated, self-starter and able to work remotely, without supervision.
Responsibility and Duty:
Planning & Business Development:
- Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts by channel.
- Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding customer requirements.
- Expands sales in existing customers by introducing new products and services; developing new applications.
- Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying customer needs to be filled.
Sales & Objectives Achievement:
- Forecast and track customer metrics over a specified period of time – monthly, quarterly, and yearly, including prepare reports on customer status.
- Responsible for achieving certain sales target from sales routes through the process of growing and developing existing and new customers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Implement all marketing campaign and trade activations activities of channels
- Implement the overall channels strategy for the company
Reporting:
- Give up-to-date information relating to customer activities, market and competition status.
- Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from customers each channel.
Knowledge/Relationships/Opportunity:
- Manages the key channel relationships on behalf of the business.
- Closes sales by building rapport with potential customer; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
Other Duties:
- Performs other duties deemed necessary to execute the duties within sales and help grow the business.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience (in beverage/alcohol industry is a plus)
- Proven track record in growing business within the channel
- Strong track record in defining and aligning channel sales strategies and programs to maximize sales and revenue performance.
Communication Skills:
- Must possess exceptional communication skills both internally and externally
- Able to draft reports and making presentations to consumers, senior sales management, stakeholders, or external partners.
- Must have both written and verbal English & Thai communication skills.
Computer:
- Must demonstrate high proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint and Excel
Analytical Skills:
- Have planning & analytical capabilities.
- Will have an in-depth knowledge of the business’s product categories and strategic, analytical, and marketing concepts.
- Able to assess trends in the channel
Interpersonal Skills:
- Possess interpersonal skills that encourage openness and trust both internally and externally.
- Will be self-motivated, have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be adaptable to business growth fluctuations, work comfortably in group or individual settings.
- Be a persuasive and charismatic individual, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work well under the pressure of stringent deadlines.
