Our client, one of the marketing leading company in FMCG spaces is looking for Category Development Manager who will be responsible for all category development activities for the company.

Description

• Review customer & channel plan performance & profitability
• Manage to trade spend budgets, promotion plans & improve customer profitability
• Responsible for developing an annual operating plan and driving other KPIs, including GMV, profit margin, and net margin
• Work closely internally with other departments and coordinate both internal and external resources to achieve business goals on behalf of a category and the company

Profile

• At least 8-10 years of experience in category development or shopper insight function or any related fields
• High analytical acumen with ability to drive and translate insights into relevant strategies and tactics (actions / initiatives) internally and for execution with our customers.
• Proven ability to deliver results through others, inspiring them with vision and purpose.
• Ability to navigate complex situations, simplify processes and decide on what needs to be done.
• Ability to operationalize and execute a change initiative and engage and influence both customers and key stakeholders behind it.
• Commercially and financially astute and proven business judgement with an understanding of the commercial impact of their own decision making.
