Job Description

  • Research, conduct business analysis, risk assessment, and apply critical thinking to business trends, industry, competitorand current events to provide relevant business insights and translate them to actionable recommendations
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, new business models, feasibility study, strategic investment opportunitiesand business riskanalysisfor the company, apply analytical frameworks to perform complex business analyses including feasibility analysis, financial valuation, and build business cases to support decision making
  • Participate as a core team member of various strategic projects and new business ventures, working closely with relevant business units and departments. Additionally, help to define targets and put in place performance measures that will determine the effectiveness of implemented strategies and identify areas of strategic movement
  • Set financial and operational targets, translate plans to implementable blueprint for each business unit for short-term and long-term, and develop corporate/business KPI framework
  • Monitoring business achievement plans as well as create clear and concise materials, key business indexes, and presentations needed for all project progresses for monthly tracking business reports
  • Ad-hoc activities and support other business activities including document review, presentations, projects, etc.
  • Drive business impact analyses (BIA), assess risks, develop and prepare plans for bringing data to create a BCP and crisis countermeasure plans
  • Support Management in developing, facilitating, and implementing Risk and BCM framework as well as creating risk profiles and BCP for new businesses/projects
  • Coordination and work closely with internal resources to evaluate, tracking, and manage operation and business risks
  • To align the current Risk and BCM activities with related standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or any other qualitative discipline from an accredited academic institution. Other disciplines welcome, if all other criteria are met.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills with complex ideas effectively
  • Good knowledge of accounting/finance concept, financial analysis and project valuation
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint with ability to structure complex Excel models/financial models and provide direction for others to own and manage models as required. Also, able to make well-structured and easy to understand PowerPoint presentation for a wide range of audience
  • Demonstrable interest in the business knowledge, financial analysis, risk, and research
  • Have experience or proven experiences to drive risk and BCM
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills with ability to analyze and draw business implications from market research, financial, and various data repositories independently in high stress situations
  • Strong organization skills and must be able to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneouslyand yet still maintain good view on priorities and deadlines for all assigned projects
  • Capacity to work collaboratively as well as independently with cross-functional teams with minimal direct supervision
  • Fast learner and creative thinkers and those willing to challenge existing preconceptions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with cross-functional projects and able to get along with all 360-degree levels
