Business Consultant - Software

Connexus Global are currently seeking a Business Consultant for a global privately owned Software company focused on the manufacturing sector.

The main focus of this role would be to develop business process related solutions for clients. Also define client needs, determine a strategy and develop a plan/proposal for delivery of the project. 

The successful applicant should be confident in fulfilling the following responsibilities;

• Drive the Customer Engagement process in assigned accounts with a focus on the following key areas: 

• supply chain/business process assessment;
• business consulting;
• solution & opportunity planning;
• “post sale” consulting.

• Involved in the recommendation to shift future performance to a third party. Performance is typically evaluated based on the capture of the business opportunity and/or utilization, (i.e., billable hours)

• Maintain an ongoing business relationship with current clients to facilitate future sales.

• Business processes and key metrics: Build and maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned industries; know key generic issues and trends of the industry; know and articulate best-in-class practices and solutions of the industry.

• Maintain knowledge of the company customer engagement method & assessment tools; lead business process using The company methods;

• Oversee and review results and assessments led by Global Services resources and provide guidance/insight into the work

• Support account team in definition of engagement plan; act on agreed customer engagement plan.

• Translate business process requirements to future state solutions and discuss improvement opportunities through the company application usage with customer stakeholders.

• Escalation management related to proposed the company solutions.

Qualification:

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in engineering, MBA preferred, APICS certification
• 10+ years of business consulting experience with top tier (>$1B Revenue) global customers
• Customer satisfaction attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead the resolution of complex issues and develop creative solutions.
