Job Description

To lead the Clorets portfolio for the Thai market whilst also playing a strong role within the broader South East Asia Business Unit. Key objectives include delivering the revenue, margin and market share growth targets within budgeted spends. Accountabilities include creating and implementing in market strategies and above and below the line plans

1. Profit & Loss accountability for Thailand Candy

Revenue & share delivery:

  • Topline (Net Revenue) delivery in line with growth targets
  • Manage margins across brands via monitoring of key drivers and taking proactive actions to bridge; Pricing, Productivity delivery.

A&C Management

  • Propose & align Advertising fund allocation within each power brand across working & non- working spends

 2. Manage monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) agenda

Monthly Demand Reviews

  • Review key assumptions & recommend correction plans for Country Demand Review
  • Accountable for full year plan to deliver financial commitments
  • Provide rolling 12-18mths demand outlook on base plan with inputs from equity & Innovation leads on big bets and NPD

Innovation to Market

  • Create and lead projects to build profitable revenue growth for Thai market and wider South East Asia business
  • Work cross functionally to deliver projects on time in full to implement in market to impact financial delivery

3. Brand Development

  • Responsible for the implementation of the local marketing strategies for the assigned brand/brands through marketing plans through close collaboration with the local sales team
  • Formulate brand strategies based on strong market analysis, competitors’ analysis and internal portfolio analysis, utilising the BCC tools.
  • Monitor performance of segments and brands against contract commitments
  • Ensure all brand strategies are underpinned by strong & in-depth consumer understanding
  • Constant review on campaigns and brands through yearly brand reviews and post campaign reviews to encourage vigorous and continuous learning.
  • Lead creation of and implementation of above & below the line materials in market, work closely with agencies to create differentiated points of awareness supporting brand communication aims
  • Adapt regional materials and implement locally adhering to Laws Of Growth (LOG)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Possess a Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration or Economics, MBA would be an added advantage
  • 5 years minimum FMCG experience in brand management
  • Strong analytical skills and be able to look at issues from different perspectives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills possessing a strong command in spoken and written in Thai and English
  • Energetic, a proven achiever with strong leadership skills to drive & influence the strategic category agenda
  • Good computer skill in Microsoft Office
