Job Description

To responsible for plan, analyze and execute the Rx planning organizations, by improving a centralized planning function, to optimize the forecast, supply planning, inventory, service & cost to serve.


Development and Implementation of Annual and Strategic Plan for assigned Business Unit

  • To ensure consistent best-in-class performance on inventory, service & cost levels
  • To drive the aggregate planning process to ensure Inventory and Cash objectives of the business are met.
  • To ensure product availability in order to enable the country to meet agreed service levels for customers.
  • To actively engage with stakeholders and team members to support the issues resolutions
  • Review and streamline supply chain planning to enable optimal inventory level management including case scenarios analysis to establish effective demand and supply operations to achieve “To Market” target with healthy stock levels.
  • Confer with Regional customer services for forecast demand or create supply plan that ensure availability of products.
  • Analyze inventories to determine how to optimized inventory level, reduce storage charge, and/or maximize product shipment to distributor warehouse.
  • Responsible for preparation of routine (weekly/monthly) management reports.
  • Working closely with regional SCM team, monitoring and actively manage inventory situation to address gaps versus targets while ensuring business continuity.
  • Be a focal point for overall supply chain activities for assigned products from suppliers (Local & Import) and to Distributors ensuring that product movements are conducted with quality, timely.
  • Drive S&OP process to achieve optimal demand management performance.
  • Optimize supply chain management of internal, and execution.
  • Coordinate with BU, Sales, and Regional Customer Service to ensure the supply plan meets sales forecast and manage importation process to comply with rule & regulation in timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain vendor performance efficiency, on time delivery and lead-time reduction.
  • Coordinate with Distributor on priority and detailed scheduling plan to ensure on-time/in-full stock availability to maintain optimum inventory/meet urgent requirements.
  • Continuously drive for operational improvement and constantly looking out for cost reduction/efficiency in all areas of operations.
  • Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as Forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with Commercial, RA, Finance on new product launches to ensure correct launch quantities and timing and/or smooth product transitions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Operational and analytical skills
