Job Description


Deliver the right range mix of Onitsuka Tiger based on market needs and opportunities that will deliver business targets on net sales, margin and profitability.

Effectively implement, monitor and evaluate merchandising strategy, planning & allocation that enhance product efficiency delivery to end consumers at both DTC, ecommerce and partner mono-brand stores.

Develop merchandising strategies and ultimately deliver on business targets working closely with internal team members, regional counterpart and distributing partner.


  • Support Regional Merchandising in developing Merchandising business plan/ strategies
  • Align with SEA region on category directions and key growth drivers
  • Ensure the correct OTB (Open to Buy) budget planning for each season
  • Oversee and develop monthly assortment plan to stores according to respective store segmentation
  • Identify and communicate range gaps to Product team on local product development (SMU)
  • Ensure range plan integration with footwear, apparel and equipment as well as Marketing initiatives
  • Monitor and plan core model sales and orders
  • Ensure that seasonal Merchandise Plan is ready with stores allocation plan before season kick starts.

 Merchandising Management

  • Oversee whole Footwear/Apparel/Accessory business cycle from range build, sales forecasting, distribution, ordering, inventory management, sell-through monitoring.
  • Build product range that meets market needs based on competitive market intelligence, consumer profile, consumer insight and trends, product performance
  • Create and adjust product life cycle and distribution mix to fit consumer and geographic needs
  • Support partner on merchandising control (allocation, launches, returns)
  • Manage inventory and drives sales for global flagship store, two factory outlets, ecommerce and marketplaces
  • Prepare and review weekly sales and stocks for all store.
  • Prepare weekly replenishment to all sales points at optimum stores’ stocks capacity in given timeline
  • Liaise with Retail Operations and Logistics on all deliveries to sales points
  • Weekly review of sales and stocks availability and perform consolidation when needed

 Analysis and Commercial Planning

  • Organize and lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with the regional office
  • Prepare weekly reports (Sku, Marketing Campaign, Promotions etc.) and share with Retail Operations and Marketing teams
  • Analyze data with commentaries and propose action plan.
  • Review stores and e-commerce monthly report and address product / stocks needs when necessary
  • Prepare monthly aging inventory reports by categories and look into aged stocks liquidation plan.
  • Actively participate in the weekly retail meeting / Store Manager Meeting.


  • Responsible for Margin management for Footwear/Apparel/Equipment business
  • Sell-through performance, Rate of Sale, SKU efficiency, and stock turn

System and Processes

  • Develop and implement an efficient process for Footwear/Apparel/Equipment business
  • Ensure a smooth integration with Sales team for seasonal buy to ensure optimal buying quantity, to tie-in seasonal buy process
  • Develop a systematic competitors’ intelligence process to analyse competitors’ product strategy

 Training and Development

  • Drive sell-through strategies and support sales/ retail trainings


  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related field, Thai only - not over 38 yrs.
  • Strong knowledge of merchandising, product life cycles and product planning
  • Strong knowledge and background of fashion or footwear market in Singapore or other SEA market
  • Strong analytical and presentation/communication skills
  • Ability to manage and/or coordinate with internal and external cross-functional groups (regional office, product, marketing)
  • Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in Merchandising or Retail Merchandising or product department in apparel industry
  • Fluent in Thai and English
