Accounting Manager (Shared Services) - THB 140K, Rangsit, Big4

This is an amazing opportunity for an Accounting Manager or a Senior Accountant with audit background to lead a team of both local and international accountants. You will be reporting to the APAC Head of Accounting in Singapore and working with different stakeholders in both Thailand and around the region.

My client is a multinational manufacturing company with the global revenue of over USD 20 billion. They have been expanding aggressively through acquisition and the business is in its very promising outlook in recent years. They are currently looking for "Accounting Manager" to join their dynamic team in Thailand.

Description

• Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change
• Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports
• Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures
• Oversee company's account receivable and account payable (AR/AP)
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes and preparing and analysing financial reports, if needed
• Contacting internal/external auditors and the Revenue Department
• Contacting the bank for facilities and credit
• In charge of taxation (VAT, withholding tax) and ensuring its timely and accurate submission
• Assist the company by providing all supporting documents for actual budget planning or for any other requirements

Profile

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Thai nationality
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Big 4 Audit experience, with hands-on experience in designing SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
• At least 8 years' experience (audit and commercial accounting) with strong business acumen and drive
• Confident, good leadership skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of SAP is a must
• Good command of English
• Experience to work for IFRS and J-SOX
