Job Description

Nuobello is a tourism development and management company based in Phuket and is now recruiting for expansion with hotel management, consulting, and property development locally in Phuket, Thailand and internationally, as well as other exciting business opportunities, including an affiliation with global accounting firm, PKF. Job brief

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to manage the finance department of NuoBello as well as assisting the CFO with our projects and clients.  The affiliation with PKF will also provide interesting opportunities. The accounting manager should be organised, flexible and willing to take on various roles. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of Nuobello’s companies, including: Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports
    • month and end-year process
    • accounts payable/receivable
    • tax management and reporting (VAT, WHT, income tax)
    • treasury, budgeting and cash forecasting
    • revenue and expenditure variance analysis
    • capital assets reconciliations
    • feasibility studies and financial modelling for new projects
    • assisting the CFO with business plans
    • assisting and advising
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies & principles
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Provide recommendations
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
  • Manage administrative matters, such as work permits/visas, vehicles.

Requirements

  • Thai national, over 35 years old
  • Good written and verbal English skills
  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Financial Controller or Finance Manager
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office and accounting software
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct and supervise
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
