Position : Accountant

Responsibilities

• Follow payment policies as published in the school’s finance policies 
• Create new students and update resigned students in the system
• Responsible ; issue invoice and issue receipt for all income of the school 
• Be responsible for all of AR closing entries record ; adjust and reconcile
• Top up money, handle daily received cash,  make daily reports and go to deposit at the bank 
• Check the outstanding report and following late payment
• Call the parent and send a letter home through the student outlining consequences
• Provide good service to parents and students
• Coordinate with a registrar and the Academic department regarding students' payments
• Handle ad-hoc assignments

Qualifications

• Male/Female age between 25-40 years old 
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• At least 2 years experience in Accounting and Finance or any related field. 
• Proficient in Google Suites and Microsoft Offices especially Microsoft Excel (Vlook up, Pivot, and formulas for accounting etc.)
• Good management skills and a pleasant personality mature.
• Able to work under pressure and to keep deadlines. 
• Love mathematics, honesty and prudence.
• Be able to communicate in English.
