To further strengthen our leadership position in an attractive growth market of lactic acid and derivatives, we have decided to build a new lactic acid plant at the existing 160,000-tons Corbion site in Rayong Province in Thailand. We will invest approximately US$190 million in a new 125,000 metric tons, operating at the highest sustainability standards and lowest costs. This results that we will have production capability of lactic acid in Rayong of almost 300k tons in 2022.
