อาจจะอยู่ที่ว่าสนใจธุรกิจแบบไหน ส่วนตััวมองเป็น 4 สาย ซึ่งแต่ละสายมี Career path ชัดเจน
- Logistics: บริหารจัดการคลังสินค้าและขนส่ง มีทั้งบริษัททั่วไปที่ทำเอง In-house แต่ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นบริษัท 3PLs
- Supply Chain: เน้น Demand & Supply Planning ทำงานได้หลายบริษัทที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการผลิตและจำหน่ายสินค้า
- Freight/ Shipping: เป็นเรื่องการบริหารขนส่งสินค้าระหว่างประเทศ มีแตกย่อยลงไปตามวิธีการขนส่ง Air, Sea, Cross-border และรวมไปถึง Customs Clearance
- Procurement บริหารการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างสินค้าและบริการ
