To provide learning from data mining to support Management team in creating commercial strategy to achieve company target
- To utilise data mining via SAS to support decision making, identify opportunity area to improve performance of company/ category and retain customer loyalty
- To present key insights to related departments and encourage internal clients to make decision basing on customer data –based analysis and aim to customer-centric concept
- Understand the usage of data mining techniques, technologies, and how they relate and impact our business in order to maximize the return of investment
- Provide in-depth analysis including trend and forecasting report of Tops customer transactional data, customer information to support B&M, Marketing and CRM team for their strategy & tactics planning and day-to-day usage
- To create predictive model to contribute to the development of the commercial strategy and short/long term planning
- Use SAS mining software in selecting data, exploring data and building models using vast data warehouse to uncover previously unknown buying patterns, detect frauds, anticipate problems before they occur, forecast resource demands, gain a greater understanding of consumer motivations, and retain profitable customers
- To provide customer segmentation, association, sequent buying, campaign responsiveness, predictive churn and store clustering
- To develop better model by keeping update data mining knowledge and methodology and also create new variables related.
- To integrate customer data from offline, online and others sources to improve the effectiveness of model
- Follow the data mining year plan to deliver the findings and recommendations as scheduled such as customer segmentation, product association, store cluster analysis, and campaign response analysis
- Ensure the full utilization of customer database by managing the appropriate controlling level of data collection, address cleansing, and maintain specific customer attributes
- Safeguard privacy of customer database by control database access by cooperating with RIS project team
- 5 years of experience in analysis with understanding of customer behavior
- Work experience in data mining tool. Preferably SAS, enhanced data mining software that empowers users to explore and exploit a large quantity of data for strategic business advantage. Specialised SAS data miner is in short supply and great search.
- Experience in food retail/ FMCG industry is a plus
- Education: Master Degree in Applied Statistics, Management Information System, or Business related
- Good command in SAS
- Good command in MS-Excel, Access, and Power point
- Strong Data Mining skill and basic knowledge of statistics
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skill
- Good communication skill and management skill
- Language: Good command of English
