An attractive Sales and Business Development Manager role has just become available at a global company based in Bangkok where you will be responsible for leading the business in its next phase of growth.
About the Sales and Business Development Manager Role:
In this crucial role, you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and responsible to expand the customer network within the telecommunication sector for Thailand's market.
- Manage own sales target focusing on products within Mobile Network Testing Market segment (Field services, Base Station Installation, Network Optimisation and Bench-marking)
- Generate leads / opportunities and sales in mobile network market segment
- Identify and develop close customer contacts with all local customers (Operator, Infrastructure Vendor, Service provider, Regulator) on technical and management level
- Work closely with local sales
- Develop partner relationships, identify opportunities and create revenue as well as take the responsibility for managing and reporting program status, market potential and market penetration
To succeed in this role, you must have at least seven years of sales experience in telecommunication business sector with great a connection with telecommunication operator in Thailand.
- Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or related field
- In depth knowledge of Network Operator eco-system (contractors, infra structure suppliers)
- In depth knowledge of mobile network architecture with focus on challenges during radio interface roll-outs / extensions (Fields testing, Network optimisation and bench-marking)
- Familiar with data and wireless communications principles and network technologies (GSM, EDGE, UMTS, HSPA, LTE, LTE-A)
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Able to explain and present complex concepts and procedures clearly
- Responsible with a dynamic character
- Account planning
- Team Player but self-motivated - able to work independently
