Cloud Service Business Development Manager

We are the local partner of Alibaba Cloud in Thailand. Seeking a Business Development Manager, based in Thailand, with Cloud Services, or Technology experience. This role suits an independent hunter, with working contacts in local Banks, Finance, and Insurance, eCommerce, Logistics, media , website business industry. Building up the connection and following up the cloud, NTTDDos, security, CDN details.
The candidate needs to demonstrate hands-on experience in building strong business relationships and to leverage their exceptional sales skills with effective and proven track records of successful results.
He or she is a team player with a passion for selling innovative, disrupting products and has a deep understanding of the cloud communications industry.
Experience of working within a service or product driven industry will give candidates a distinct advantage
- Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new business for us to an agreed annual revenue target, to increase year on year.
- Actively and successfully manage the entire sales process.
- Managing and develop the sales pipeline, ensuring all sales administration is kept up to date.
- Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.
- Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, and any further documentation.
- Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities to us are captured and explored.
- The candidate will have individual responsibility for new business and is expected to self-manage, however, he/she will have support from the managing and sales director for complex large pitches and strategies.
- 0-3 years of sales experience in the computer or internet or software industry as sales. Previous experience in the mobile messaging industry is highly beneficial.
- Graduate from relative industry such as software, computer science, well-known the language of computer and cloud storage.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Thai would be required. Chinese speaking will be additional preferred;
- Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with strong selling and sales aptitude.
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and commitment.
- Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
- Resourceful, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and cope with tight deadline.
- Excellent people skills to establish a good rapport with customers.
- A team player with excellent personal relationship skills.
- Thai, Bachelors Degree majored in marketing, sales, IT, business.
