Business and System Analyst
Job Location : Bangkok
Reporting to : Operation Manager
Job Purpose: To enhance existing system to meet business requirements with optimize operation and create most efficient process.
- Support the building of new applications/tools as well as improving current systems
- Co-ordinate with departmental users and technical analysts, in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance to manage systems with optimal operational performance.
- Analyzes the feasibility of, and develops requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.
- Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
- Create related requirements artifacts – process flows, diagrams for application development; Expose to UML or other associated object-oriented design methodologies.
- Create user acceptance test cases/scripts and complete/execute the user acceptance testing together with other development team members/testers
- Learn new technologies: mobile apps, cloud technology, big data, data science, etc. in order to help increase productivity, system efficiency and reliability as well as improve user friendliness
- Provides technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Male or female, aged 30 years and above
- Thai Nationality ONLY
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science/IT is preferred
- Must have 3 years of experience in one OR more of the following fields: business analysis /system analysis/ business application development / project manager
- Experience in one of the programming languages (PHP, .NET, Java,…) or database management systems(MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle,…) is a plus
- Must have strong communication skills, proven English writing and speaking abilities (must be able to write clearly and accurately).
- Knowledge about Insurance industry, preferably Health or Life
- Strategic thinking and perspective
- Can-do and persevere attitude
