Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Leading, Managing, Coordinating
- Supervises AE for the development of advertising activities in accordance with client’s objectives, budget and time limitations.
- Ensures that the AE performs effectively in the mechanics of his/her assignments, being sensitive to when active participation is needed as opposed to counsel.
- Oversees the scheduling and flow of work.
- Initiates planning that will lead to effective execution of advertising activities for clients.
- Maintains regular contact with appropriate client personnel to insure continuing awareness of client’s desires, interests and understanding of agency work.
- Keeps AD/GAD appropriately involved and informed on all major aspects of accounts and reports to him/her periodically on the progress of business.
- Stays alert for opportunities to increase client activity and billing, as well as obtains new business from existing clients.
Planning, Analyzing, Evaluating
- Formulates Creative Brief and reviews it with AD and planner prior to internal discussion with creative.
- Reviews creative work to insure that it reflects the strategy and objectives prior to submission to client.
- Develops the presentation for quarterly Brand Review and reviews it with AD prior to the meeting with client.
- Collaborates with AD in developing Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC)Plan, when appropriate.
- Collaborates with AD in analyzing and evaluating previous client campaigns and problems and reports to client.
- Reviews client’s billing at all times and furnishes an update report to the AD on a monthly basis.
- Prepares timesheets once a week, at a minimum.
- Reviews the job description and performance evaluation with the AE every six months to ensures proper training and guidance are being provided throughout the year.
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is desired for this position.
- Minimum5-8 years experience of Client Service and working as an Account Manager at least 3-5 years, preferably from Advertising Agency / Digital Agency
- Good digital knowledge and CRM would be advantage
- A passion of digital marketing
- High levels of logical thinking, analytical & problem solving skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Initiative, innovative and proactive
- Good project management skill
