Our client is a successful international logistics, supply chain management, and freight-forwarding company with operations in countries allacross the world. With a multi-billion US dollar turnover and double digit growth over the last 5 years, they are one of the leading companies in their industry and continue to grow and diversify the business into new areas to offer complete solutions to their customers. As part of their on-going regional expansion, they are now looking for a new Regional CFO to join their senior management team. Salary: Negotiable – Depending on experience
The position will report to the Regional MD and will span4 countries across the Indochina regional cluster. The main objective will be to oversee the financial risks and investments of the group and play a significant supporting role indriving the company’s expansion and development across the region. There will be a strong emphasis on preparing the company to go public and readying the groupacross all 4 countries, as well as budget management, cost–benefit analysis, forecasting needs and managing the efficiency of the company’s processes. The role will span managingthe Finance & Accounting team of the group in GMR Countries (Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos) and coordinating closely with the Group Finance Director at company HQ. Corporate governance, investor relations and coordinating with the audit committee will all be at the heart of this challenging and dynamic regional role. A strategic and results-oriented attitude will be crucial in making sure the company continues its double-digit growth and delivers on its goal to be the leading logistics company in the region.
Our client is looking for a Thai or ASEAN national, who possesses a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field such as finance, business administration, accounting or economics. The successful candidate must have significantsenior management experience in managing all keyaccounting and finance functions and havebeen part of driving a company towards an IPO. He or she will possess a proven track record of leadership and supportingbusiness growth withinlarge multi-national organizations, especially thosewhich have experienced expansion or transition. A background of working across multiple countries in the region is stronglyfavoured, as the role spans 4 countries (1 established and 3 developing) and therefore requires a strong ability manage the revenue of the cluster. The idealpersonwill need to be a sound decision maker, effective communicator and be able to handle pressure exceptionally well. Excellent English skills in all areas are a must and an ability to create an execute plans for the maximum benefit of the organization.
