Position Title: General Manager- Small Appliance
Department: Buying & Merchandising General Merchandise
Job Summary & Purpose
- Propose Appliance strategy (supply mode, sale support link with online)
- Sourcing Appliance assortment and set up Appliance promotion
- Plan manpower, set working process and procedures and set strategy for sales, profit and other income to achieve target. Also encourage the colleagues using up-to-date knowledge gained
- Built up assortment for Hyper market format and roll out to potential format / store
- Strong negotiation skill , need to compare promotion price with Discount store or Supercenter and customer need
- Select, build up and maintain relationship with suppliers.
- Analyze sales data, plan and manage the products in the assigned category.
- Set the direction to develop assortment regarding to the trend of customer need in term of image, sales and profit
- Set the standard margin of products in the assigned category to achieve target.
- Be completing the trade agreement with supplier to maximize the company benefit. Plan and set promotion / activity ( scheme , products , volume in each Category )
- Organize sale relate to service (credit scheme , delivery / installation, after sale service)
- Develop working process and revenue collection to achieve target.
- Support and solve store or other relevant departments problems , Relate to supply and stock management
- Control and monitor Product Recall procedure regarding to regulations from relevant institutes (e.g. FDA)
- Support for new store opening.
- Plan manpower, prepare manual to develop team and train new staff (Internal CFR work process, such as Accounting, Buying support , Marketing, Operation and products knowledge)
- Control working operation and evaluate subordinators’ performance.
- Built up Appliance assortment and promotion plan for Hyper market
- Company Policies, Procedures and Strategies
- B&M Policies: sales, profit and other income
- Generally accepted accounting principles
- Compliance of Internal Audit and VAT
- Complete assortment plan and negotiate with Appliance suppliers for Hyper market format according to CFR Target
- Implement and manage sales, profit and other income to achieve target.
- Monitor and control Trading Agreement and the negotiation with suppliers to maximize company benefit.
- Support new store opening
- Supervise all subordinates
- Cooperate with Operation
- Study up-to-date knowledge to apply for B&M colleagues
- Education: MBA/ BA in Marketing or any related field
- Experience: Proven experiences and excellent past performance in Buying & Merchandising at least 3 years.
- Characteristics/ skills: Have experience at Supercenter or Discount store Or Wholesale for Appliance category
- Excellent communication and negotiation skill
- Good analytical and problem solving skill Energetic and positive attitude Result oriented
- Excellence in Team building and Leadership skill Computer litera
