1. Job Purpose:
Lead the Talent Management programme for the Minor Food Group, including Succession Planning that ensures we have the right people in the right positions at the right time. Provides oversight for talent management initiatives, tactics, and operations including focus on measurement of results. Works with business leaders and HR Business Units to design, develop and deploy strategies and actions to address critical organisational and talent issues as well as provide a competitive advantage for the Company.
2. Main Responsibilities:
2.1 Work with the management to develop Talent Management strategy, objectives and plan that directly reflect the organisational strategic plan and human resource programmes.
2.2 Synergise and maximise Minor’s talent management systems and tools. Develop and update Talent Management & Development framework and manuals.
2.3 Lead the management of talent pipeline, including reviewing individual capability vs organisational requirement, identifying gaps to new business potential to development roadmaps to close the gaps.
2.4 Define critical positions (current & future needs) and propose critical positions with numbers of incumbents for approval.
2.5 Formulate the Talent Development Programs and design learning journey that fit with each Talent Pool and Talent’s incumbent (such as Action Based Learning that linked with Minor Business Leader Development Program or MBLD, Sustainability Leadership Development Program or SLDP, and New Generation Development Program or NGT, etc.)
2.6 Handle and facilitate the Talent Management activities, e.g. Talent Review.
2.7 Ensure consistent implementation of talent assessment approaches for development and assessment, including leadership assessments, multi-rater feedback, team effectiveness assessments etc.
2.8 Working closely with business leaders and HR Business Units to identify, review, prioritise and build talent capabilities, Succession Planning and individual development plan execution.
2.9 Work closely with business leaders, HR Business Units and Corporate Learning & Development to implement Talent Development programmes. Create a learning and development roadmap to enhance capability for strategic talent needs of the business.
2.10 Develop Succession Planning strategies and integrate executive searches to align with succession plans and talent gaps
2.11 Collaborate with Learning and Development team to integrate L&D initiatives into succession plans, career ladders, and talent management programme.
2.12 Partner with Talent Acquisition team to bring industry expertise and best practices to develop our employee branding (EVP), talent sourcing strategy, and talent retention strategies that attracts top talent, screen, interview, select, orient, on-board, develop and retain highest quality, best fitting talent.
2.13 Work with consultants and agencies to implement best practices of Talent Management Succession Planning, executive coaching and other related talent initiatives.
2.14 Establish key metrics and measurements for each Talent Management programme. Understand and deliver the data and analysis needed to enable strategic Talent Management business discussions and decisions.
3. Other Duties:
3.1 Adhere to the company’s employee rules & regulations.
3.2 Attend and contribute to all training sessions, meetings and activities as required.
3.3 Exercises responsible management and behaviour at all times, positively representing the MFG.
3.4 Maintains strong, professional relationship with relevant business partners.
3.5 Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
3.6 Keep the office and working areas clean and tidy at all times.
3.7 Partner with key HR strategic partners such as APM, DDI, Humanica, and Sirota, etc.
3.8 Actively participate in all Organisation & HR activities.
3.9 Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
